To promote young dancing talents, the MMCCT organised the Marathi Solo Dance Competition- Nrutyavishkar for the second time. The Competition was segregated into three categories and 49 participants took part. The Marathi Solo Dance Competition was hosted at the Caudan Art Centre.
For the first time, the MMCCT organised the Prabodhini Ekadashi on Thursday 26 November 2020 at the seat of Marathi Cultural Circle Bhavani Mandir. This event was also livestreamed on the MMCCT FB Page.
In the context of the International Day for Older Persons, the MMCCT organised a Cultural Programme for the Marathi Seniors at Vinayak Mandir, Beau Bassin. On that occasion, an exhibition of antique and ancestral objects was showcased .
The Ganesh Chaturthi Festival was celebrated at national level on Saturday 22 August at Maratha Mandir, Henrietta. The MMCCT also, hosted a Cultural Programme at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj SpiritualPark, Pierrefonds during Visarjan (Immersion) whereby six Marathi groups performed dance items.
In the context of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival, the MMCCT organised the Jhakri Dance Competition for the 6th consecutive years at the Black River Pawan Ganesh Mandir on Saturday 15 August 2020 and nine groups participated. The Winner of the Competition was Baie du Cap Marathi Kaylashnath Mandir .
In the context of Krishna Janmashtami, a Bhajan Mahotsav was held on Tuesday 11 August 2020 as from 7pm till Midnight at New Grove Shri Ganesh Mandir. This programme was also livestreamed on the MMCCT FB.
The MMCCT initiated a project on JHAKRI to be listed on UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage
Ashadhi Ekadashi was celebrated at the Cascavelle Pandharpur Pandurang Kshetra Mandir. Onthat occasion, Bhajans were performed by several groups. This programme was livestreamed onthe MMCCT FB .
As each year, Nag Panchami was celebrated at Maratha Mandir on Saturday 25th July 2020.  MMCCT Chairman and devotees performed bhajans .
In the context of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Coronation Day, Pierrefonds River Bank was decreed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Spiritual Park with the collaboration of the Municipal Council of Quatre Bomes. To mark this activity, a special programme was hosted on the MMCCT Facebook page with theparticipation of some local and international artists .
